Why Ceruleus
Ceruleus Capital derives its name from the locus coeruleus, a structure in the brain that determines how we perceive and respond to stress, uncertainty, and risk. It's the perfect metaphor for what we believe lies at the heart of trading: understanding the emotional architecture behind every decision.
After years of studying the markets, one thing has proven constant, which is that the defining edge separating elite market participants from the rest is not intelligence nor information, but rather, emotional control.
Our Approach
Our approach is discretionary and highly selective. We combine macro context, positioning, and other relevant metrics to form multi-dimensional theses. While we make use of data and analytics, we don't rely on automation or algorithms.
